Wooded streams. Yellow belly and vent in both sexes; breast whitish; dark green above; red rump and tail coverts; male has black mask.

Forest, bush. Streaky head, scaly throat with yellowish tinge; grey back with yellow bars on wings, paler underparts.

Woodland. Back, underbelly and vent deep blue, rest of body and wings dark brown.
