Wetland edges. Below yellow; above green-grey; various head patterns.

Wetlands. Male yellow with dark wings; yellow-speckled mantle; black mask from eyebrows to throat, or entirely black head; bill black; eyes red. Female lacks speckled mantle and mask; throat and breast yellow; belly whitish; eyes red; bill pinkish.

Riverine forests and bush. Head and above glossy-green; breast violet; belly yellow.
