Okavango. Lagoons and backwaters. Told by yellow legs and feet plus tawny throat.

Wetlands. Orange legs in adult, dark in immature. Head and rear of neck dappled light brown; back and wings dark brown; all feathers boldly edged white; below white.

Wetlands. Very dark small heron; rich rufous below and on wings. Bill and legs normally yellow.
