Woodland. Emerald-green spots on the wings; double black bars on the back; rufous flight feathers.

Woodland. Male bright green above; white below; bill black; eyes red. Female similar, but with coppery mantle.

Suburbia. Its green-black plumage shows a purple sheen about the upper breast and mantle.

Riverine forests. Glossy-green upperparts, head and upper breast; rest of underparts yellow. Female has entirely yellow underparts.

Forests. Green body and wings; yellow-brown (or grey) head and neck; orange-red forehead and shoulders.

Wetlands. Entirely green above; pale blue eyebrows, cheeks and belly; chin yellow; throat rufous.
