Common, endemic resident. Entirely white except for black wings and tail. Immature is initially olive-brown, becoming white gradually. The call is a high-pitched babbling, one bird commencing ‘skerr-skerr-skerr-kikikikikikerrkerrkerr…’ and all others joining in; shriller than [Arrow-marked Babbler]. Parties of up to 12 birds frequent dry thornveld and woodland.
