Description
Common, localised, near-endemic resident. In limited zone where distribution overlaps with Southern Black Tit, identification problematic. Slightly smaller than [Southern Black Tit], the vent and undertail with either small traces of white or none, the bill smaller and more white in the wing. Female and immature are duller. Calls and habits like [Southern Black Tit] Occurs in mopane and Acacia savanna in northern Namibia.

Bird Family
Small insectivorous, arboreal birds with short stout bills, the nostrils obscured by bristles. They habitually forage in the tree canopies in bird parties, clambering about the branches in agile fashion and frequently feeding in inverted positions. They have rasping calls.
