Description
Common resident. Differs from [Orange Ground-Thrush] and [Olive Thrush] in distinct black-and-white throat markings and white eyebrows (no white wing-bars); immature as illustrated. Calls a loud ‘peet-peeoo’ at dusk and has a mellow, complicated song with trills and warbles in short outbursts. Found mostly singly in a variety of wooded habitats, including rural suburbia.
