Description

Common resident. One of the smallest birds in the region. Underparts more buff than [Cape Penduline Tit], throat and breast pale grey and forehead buffy; immature similar. Western and some northern races are olive-green or yellow-green above, more yellowish on belly. The call is ‘chikchikZEE, chikchikZEE, chikchikZEE…’. Occurs in small groups in moist broad-leaved woodland; feeds mainly in the treetops.

Bird Family
