Description

Common resident. Distinguished by brown throat-bar (if present), otherwise best told from other similar species by pale yellow-buff underparts and pale eye with brown surround. The call is a rapid, high-pitched whistled series ‘teeup-ti-ti-ti-ti-ti-ti-ti…’, followed by a short trill. Occurs in groups of two to five in Acacia woodland, feeding in the tree canopies.
