well spotted dark brown.

Wetlands. Large drab duck. Black, broad-tipped bill; orange-yellow legs; speckled all over dark brown on pale grey. Male has paler head. In flight, shows pale blue-green on upper wings.

Lily pans. Uapperparts dark green; underparts orange-beige; short yellow bill.
African Black Duck
Rivers. Dark brown with white-spotted upperparts; bill grey; legs orange.
