HABITAT
A bold species usually found in association with human settlements, where it gleans food scraps, especially haunting refuse dumps, school playing fields, highways and farmlands. Usually in loose flocks or large communal roosts.

SPECIES DESCRIPTION
Common and widespread resident. Distinguished by white breast and collar. The call is a loud ‘kwaak’.
