Riverine woodland. Red throat, back, wings and upper tail green; forehead and chin white; nape and breast cinnamon; belly to vent blue.

Western savanna. Green above and upper breast; throat yellow with blue band; belly and forked tail blue. Immature apple-green above and below.

Aerial. Forehead and underbody blue; throat yellow; upperparts chestnut and green.

Wetlands. Entirely green above; pale blue eyebrows, cheeks and belly; chin yellow; throat rufous.
